Quality fish and chips
We are a family run business, in the heart of Golcar, Huddersfield. Frying in beef dripping, we use only the finest quality haddock and locally sourced potatoes. Traditional take out or local delivery to your door!
We are open as usual through to 8pm on Wednesday 24th December (xmas eve).
We will then be closed until Thursday 8th January. Please note for Thursday 8th January and Friday 9th January only we will open at the later time of 5.30pm . Normal opening hours will resume from Saturday 10th January .
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for your support and wish you a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.

We have built our reputation on quality fish and chips in Huddersfield. We have a delivery team that work hard to bring hot, fresh fish and chips to your door. Our deliveries come in food grade cardboard cartons to make sure the food is hot and batter is crispy.
Quality Pies
Proud stockists of Jones Pies. These are high quality pies, baked locally in Lockwood, Huddersfield. Jones Pies started in a butchers shop in 1988. Still today they stay true to the good old fashioned ways of making a great pie. Every pie is hand crafted using the best meat and the best of local ingredients.

About Us
Junction fisheries is a traditional fish and chip shop nestled in the heart of Golcar near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Family owned and run by Darron and Jackie and the next generation James and Megan.
Frying in beef dripping we use only the finest quality haddock and locally sourced potatoes.
We believe in promoting other local businesses using Hadfields teacakes baked fresh in the local village of Milnsbridge, Jones Pies baked fresh in Lockwood and of course the infamous Dixon’s ice creams churned locally in Lockwood.
We deliver fine quality fish and chips direct to our customers door, using our own drivers to ensure your takeaway reaches you in a timely manner and in the same condition it leaves our restaurant – hot and fresh.
Fantastic chippy! Can easily say that junction fisheries is the greatest chippy in Huddersfield. The new owners are friendly, extremely helpful and create AMAZING food!
